About Ling Yoong
I am an Australian Medical Doctor, specialising in General Practice. I've been providing health care for residents and the Aboriginal Community of Sydney as well as delivering health care for Australian Indigenous populations in remote communities.
Through the years, I have provided medical care in China, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Papua New Guinea and Nauru.
My love for photography was enhanced when my husband, Marshall, bought me my first Canon SLR camera.
Sue Flood, a well-known British nature photographer, has been my mentor through the years, nurturing a true passion for capturing nature in its glory, or in its struggle.
The proceeds from the sale of my photos go to educate minority girls from the highlands of Vietnam and to the Duke Lemur Centre in Durham, North Carolina, USA
